Exclamation Change formula on button click.

    Hello everybody,

the company I'm working for made a machinery configurator in several different languages (German, English, Italian, French... and many other) and I would like to know whether something like this is possible:

By clicking on a button some cells have to change their formulas so that the text in German is going to be automatically swapped by a text in English. By clicking on another button, the text swaps automatically to another language (I need 6 buttons in total).
I was thinking something like this: writing the various texts in a sheet (or several sheets, one per language maybe), by clicking on a certain button, the formula in certain cells should automatically change, showing me the selected language cells on the second sheet.
Moreover, I would like these cells to be blocked in order my clients using this configurator without messing up with it (this is a point of secondary importance, if it's possible to do it better, otherwise I will keep on sending them offers as a pdf.

Can anybody help me with this? I really have no clue how to make excel do this.

    Thank you.

Re: Change formula on button click.

When you say the text should change do you mean text in inverted commas?
Or do you mean if a formula is INDEX(MATCH(...
and German is selected then the formula should change to whatever the German Excel equivalent of INDEX(MATCH... is ?

    Some info here...

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

Re: Change formula on button click.

Hello and thank you for your answer.
The text in inverted commas need to to change. The formulas I would use are very simple, somthing like: =Sheet2!A1 if in Sheet1 A1 I have the text to write in the cell. Let me try to explain you better:

In sheet 1 I have my layout and in cell A1 I have a reference to Sheet2 A1 in order to reproduce the text in sheet 2 A1.
When I click on a certain button I want my cell in Sheet1 A1 to change its reference to Sheet2 B1 (alternatively to another sheet)
When I click on another button I want my cell in Sheet1 A1 to chenge its reference to Sheet2 C1
When I click on a third button the cell needs to go back to the first reference (Sheet2 A1)

    I hope it's clear enough.
