Open/Update Powerpoint, but doing each one twice?

One part of a weekly report macro updates four separate powerpoint slides' links. As each powerpoint is opened, I'm prompted in excel to open the linked file. That's fine, but it appears to be asking me twice for each powerpoint. Pasting the code below, and I can't see what might be causing the duplication. There is only one charted linked in each powerpoint file. Any help is greatly appreciated.
