Question on hiding rows

I have two macros to hide rows. The idea is the first macro weeds it down to a filtered list. Then the second macro will narrow the filtered list even further. But, it seems to be running really slow. So I am wondering if each macro is going thru the entire spreadsheet. Is there a way to check that?

It would be easier to help and test possible solutions if you could attach a copy of your file. Explain in detail what you want to do referring to specific cells, rows, columns and sheets using a few examples from your data (de-sensitized if necessary).
