Excel Inventory using a barcode scanner (VBA Macros)

Good afternoon. Hope you all are doing well.

I am brainstorming to create an excel sheet used as inventory for certain products. This products consist of sections. The main idea is that when one section is ready I will scan the label using the scanner and it will immediately fill out the row in excel. There will be around a total of 10 columns. As soon as the section is done I want it to automatically excel be prepared in the next row to be ready for the next scan. Since this sections are randomly scanned, when all sections complete the final product, I want to be able to receive an alert saying that all section are in the system.

What are the possibilities of making this happen? Is it too complex or something achievable?

Any feedback is much appreciated. I have not started yet working on it, my VBA Macros knowledge is low but any advice helps. Thanks in advance.

After thinking about it what I am aiming for its not really an inventory it is more of a master log sheet to keep track of all the product that is being completed.
