I use this excel workbook to figure out how to schedule my employees based on their responses to a google form. The FIRST SHEET on excel is the output of the Google Form. The second is the grid that I used to keep track of people who can work when. I spend most of the time copy and pasting back and forth which takes me a while. I want to write VBA code that would allow me to assign constraints like what day and shift the person prefers and then put their name in the 2nd sheet where they could work.
I would manually check the preferred, not preferred neutral to make sure people don't work with people they don't want to work with. Is this something I can use something like a macro-enabled solver? I am not sure.
