Hello all, Please I need your help on this I have a file with VBA code that displays an alert each time we make any modification on the Excel file. I need to put this file in SharePoint. While it works fine on my desktop, when I put the Excel file on SharePoint, no message box is displayed. Can you suggest any solution to make it work in SharePoint?

When you use it in SharePoint are you using the web version of Excel, or opening it in the desktop version?

I have another qusestion please today I tried to open my file on desktop but no MsgBox is appearing, the code is not working and this is not the first time , so I created a new file with the same code and it works, could you please tell what's wrong!

The web version does not support VBA. To run VBA you must use the desktop version. The web version has a different macro language called Office Script, which is web-only and will not run on the desktop version.Originally Posted by AndyExcelVBA

The two files are one file with code that doesn't work and one file with code that does work.
On the web version you can use Office Script but I don't know it so I can't tell you how to do anything specific.
