    Possible Corrupted Workbook?

    Hello,

I have this workbook that I am trying to sync on onedrive between my pc and my surface pro. For some reason some of the VBA doesn't function on my surface pro.

Can someone please see if there are issues with the codes that might affect the syncing?

I have Microsoft 365. I have reinstalled on the surface pro and also reinstalled the Onedrive app but didn't help.

    I appreciate your help.

Is this why some of the VBA doesn't work on the Surface Pro?

    Re: Possible Corrupted Workbook?

This is more likely related to what is supported on your Surface rather than an issue with the file. I do not have a Surface but it seems that VBA support may depend on the Surface model and Windows OS installed.
some of the VBA doesn't function
Just some? What works and what doesn't work? For the part that doesn't work, what happens?

The navigation from Admin to Calendar codes don't work. The hide unhide yellow sheets doesn't work. On the Calendar the appointments save, new, or delete isn't working.

On the Job sheets there are codes to lock cells, unlock cells, or close all isn't working.

I think it may be the age of the Surface and not supporting VBA so much.

What I can to is have a stripped down version that I can import when I get home. My intentions are to bring to jobs (surface).

    Thanks for looking.

When you say "not working," what happens? Does the code just not run?

Do you have any VBA code that does work? If so, you need to show examples of code that works vs. code that does not work.

Nothing happens when I click on the shapes to run the codes.

Scrolling through calendar months does work. Hide Unhide scrolls and tabs does work.

    Re: Possible Corrupted Workbook?

I think I will get a dedicated laptop for the jobs. For this workbook are there any issues with minimum requirements that will allow the VBA codes to function?

    Thanks

Means nothing to me without seeing the code and how you invoke it.

It sounds like assigning a macro to a shape doesn't work, but some other kind of code does work. Describing what function the code performs is of limited help.

Any machine with a Windows OS should run macros. I thought that Surface devices used Windows but there may be some limitations. Not having one I can't say much more.

    Re: Possible Corrupted Workbook?

Does your current VBA have any code that is dependent on whether Excel is 32-bit or 64-bit? (If you don't know, then the answer is probably no.)

I can't test at the moment, as I am away from home, but I have a Surface and I am sure it supports VBA. Happy to test a file for you later (I'll be back home this afternoon UK time).

I see you've opened a new thread - is this issue with the VBA on your Surface resolved or not?

I realized that the surface pro has issues. I am sorry I forgot to close this thread. I hope that I didn't mess up and get an infraction.

No, but thanks for confirming, as it has saved me the job of testing the workbook on my Surface.
