    Create an excel program with field forms and import details of matched inputted data in fi

    hi!
    im pretty much new here. Hope someone could help me. I wanted to have an excel program where there will be a field where when the employee id is inputted in column 1, details such as name, rank and position will be imported to column 2,3,4 and so on. I want it to be interactive.

    need your help asap.

    Hi excelally and welcome to the forum,

    It sound like you need to learn how to use a VLookup function.
    See example #3 on http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...005209335.aspx
