Gurus,

I have a protected sheet that allows users to insert a row.

I have built a macro to insert a row, merge some cells and place borders around them, however, I cannot select them after the macro is complete because they are locked. Also, I have tried to get the macro to unlock them but the error says it cannot select the range (the merged cells).

The rows above and below the inserted row are both unlocked. It seems that the inserted row follows the format of the rows above and below except for the locked protection.

Is there a code to inserting a row or range (preferred) that is not locked so I can protect the sheet from unwanted or accidental changes?

TIA,
Tim
