Copying UK Dates from google spreadsheets and pasting into excel, retaining UK Format

I have a routine which takes data copied to the clipboard by a user, and then pastes the date into various sheets in our workbook.

All works fine except the dates. These are pasting as UK format, but switching day and month (where day is less than 12)

I have formatted the range before and after the paste (.numberformat("dd/mm/yyyy"))

What would the easiest way (or preferred) to handle these dates?
The data is pasted to a temporary sheet....

    and then re-formatted....

Im sure Im doing / missing something obvious here, please help!

The dates are in Column R of the temp sheet, and column B on the cleans sheet in our workbook

Can anyone help me with this?

. I have worked around this by looping through the pasted list prompting user for the correct date, but I would really like this automated.

So basically... I am copying from a properly formatted UK google spreadsheet. I am pasting ALL not just values, I am formatting the destination column first - Still my dates paste in US format (mm/dd/yyyy)
