Compile Error: Function Call On Left-Hand Side Of Assignment Must Return Variant Or Object

    Hi,

    Using Excel 2013.

I'm trying to load part of an array into a temporary array but receiving this error:
Compile Error: Function Call On Left-Hand Side Of Assignment Must Return Variant Or Object
I believe I declared the receiving array as type variant, so I'm not sure what the error message is telling me?

    thx
    w
