    How can I sum numbers that contain MA and ST label separately?

    You could use a Pivot Table, or you could use the below formulas.

    =SUMIFS(A:A,B:B,"MA")

    =SUMIFS(A:A,B:B,"ST")

    As an alternative, the below formula when entered in cell D1 will generate the whole result table;
