Copying Conditional Format from one cell to another

I was wondering I have conditional format in one cell ( which is about 5 rules) instead of me writing them out on each cell can I copy the rules like I can on excel?

I have asked but no one seems to know but surely must be a simply way.


Also guessing can convert conditional formatting from excel into google sheets?

If this is a "Google Sheets" question;

Right click the range which has conditional formatting and copy, then select the other range, right click and select "Paste Special >> Paste Conditional Formatting Only"

when you do a simple copy of a cell, everything in that cell gets copied over. If there is CF in that cell, that carries over as well - however, I have found in the past, that CF rules sometimes get doubled/tripled up when copying CF cells, so check the rules afyer you copy to make sure this didnt happen
