Hi, I'm retired and operate a smoke monitoring device that I own. The device is called PurpleAir. Really!
The PurpleAir device is portable, and I set it up at various locations. The data are transmitted if Wi-Fi is available. Otherwise, it collects the data usually every 80 seconds and saves it in csv format for processing in Excel. I'm learning a lot about the differences that can occur on mountain tops compared to valleys.
So I use Excel to collect and (try to) process roughly 1000 lines of data per day, and about 20 columns. I compare my results to other air pollution monitors in the area. I spend a lot of time in Excel, and I'm not very good at it.
