Getting this error all over the place, even just trying to view a post also can't use any of the mobile versions of the forum due to errors?

Time for an upgrade/repair I think.

    Getting that myself, abousetta.

Worse still, on several occasions when this happens the post doesn't get "recognized" as one of mine and so doesn't appear in my User CP.

Wanted to come report this problem as well, but since there's already one on it, I'll add on to confirm there's definitely something wrong with the forum now. On some cases a replied thread shows as 0 replies.

The test edit didn't work normally.

After editing the post I hit the Save button. The "spinner" popped up for a fraction of a second then went away and the post was still in edit mode. Tried hitting the Save button several more times with the same result.

I then refreshed the page and the edited post showed up.

Re: Fatal Error when trying to report post

    One more bug related

When I edit a post and hit Save, I get the spinning 'working' icon, and then it disappears. The edit window remains open instead of refreshing back to the thread. However, the edit does go through, I just have to manually go back to the thread.

Otherwise it seems to be working much better now

Edit: Nevermind, when I posted this I got the double up "This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 30 seconds."

Though the edit window when I edited it didn't close when I hit save.

Edit again, oh neat, I was able to edit and hit save again without clicking Edit again since it stayed in edit mode, this will actually be helpful for me since I edit 5-15 times on every post anyway.
You should hit F5, because chances are I've edited this post at least 5 times.

Re: Fatal Error when trying to report post

I think part of the problem is that this forum uses VBSEO (on top of vBulletin) - which is obsolete and unsupported.

Although some of the key features of the forum which we are used to rely on VBSEO, it may well be time for the tech team to look for an alternative, which is more stable and is properly supported. Of course, that means a lot of dev work, and some change in the features and functionality available to us, the members.

If it means a forum which is slightly functionally poorer, but is more stable and reliable, then it gets my vote...

Edit: got the "duplicate post" message when posting this, again...

Edit2: Saving this edit just showed the 'working' animation, but no page refresh.

    testing something.

The person edited it out, but I saw someone quote another member and the entire quote acted as though it was =LOWER()'d. All letters were lower case. I doubt the user manually did it because there was a fairly long formula involved, just a weird quirk i guess?

Re: Fatal Error when trying to report post

If you post a formula that's in uppercase and no other text in a reply the forum software will convert the formula (or text in all uppercase) to lowercase.

I think that follows the generally accepted rule that text in all uppercase is more difficult to read so the forum doesn't allow it.
