How to overturn an erroneous banishment ?

    Hi
suppose, for some reason, one is banished erroneously from the forum. ( Errare humanum est...)
How is it possible to contact a mod or Admin to correct this?
It happened to me yesterday and thanks to a forum member I know of, the problem was solved.
    But what if... ?

(And BTW my friend tried to PM one of the mods, but his Inbox was full... What's the point of being a Mod if you cannot be contacted?)

What you'd have to do in extremis is create a new account, contact an admin to get it sorted and then revert to the original account.

Moderator inboxes get full very quickly, and we often don't realise until we get a message saying that someone has been unable to send a message. I clean mine out regularly, but we all get caught out from time to time.

Thanks Ali ( and BTW, greetings from arthurbr) for your help in this matter.
I thought as much . Won't the system reject the new account if using the same email address?
Yes, the Mod's Inboxes are quite small. This forum should definitively be upgraded to something more up to date, as it has so much success and is well-manned ( shouldn't we also say "well-ladied" ??).
Yes, yes, I know, "wishful thinking" ( if the term is right) ..

I think you'd need to use a different E-mail address, but it's quite easy to create a new E-mail address just for that. I'm not sure how you got accidentally zapped, but I do know, on this occasion, it wasn't me (although I have been guilty of it in the past).
