    General feedback on projects

Where might one post completed Excel Projects for general constructive critiqe and feedback? Is that allowed? The goal being to get case specific pointers to improve my skills.

This forum has been an incredible resource for me, it is the only one I am a member of. Thank you.

    Hi TFiske.

In the forum home page near the bottom there is a link to Development testing forum.

That looks like a good place to try.

    Re: General feedback on projects

    Hi TFiske
As mentioned , the Development testing forum ( https://www.excelforum.com/development-testing-forum/ ) is I think intended for the purpose you mention.
One problem, however, is that things can go unnoticed there. This is because
_a) You have to scroll down to the bottom of the main Forum list start side when logged in to see it ( Developingtestingforum.JPG https://imgur.com/uP2i06P ) : Most people do not scroll down that far.
_b) The Development testing forum Sub Forum is only visible if you are logged in, so visitors not logged in will not be able to see any of your posts there
_c) I use the forum frequently as depository for larger codes and tables etc, which unfortunately knocks any other postings off the top. Apologies for that.

But I do get quite lonely there and I would very much welcome some company. So please do stop by.

    _.________________________

What I suggest you do , would be to put your main postings in the Development testing forum: Do all your testing and adjustments / Edits etc there. Then , once in a while, when you want to make people aware of something of yours there at the Development testing forum, then make a post here in the Water Cooler Sub Forum ( https://www.excelforum.com/the-water-cooler/ ) .
In that Water Cooler posting, paste in the URL link to your main Thread in the Development testing forum , and explain to us what it is that you are wanting to show us in your main Thread.

    _..__

I will look forward to seeing you there . I will definitely view all you posts. I cannot guarantee to understand anything in your subject area, but I may certainly be able to help if you have any problems with the mechanics of posting there. Please stop by and share your stuff. It will be very welcome

Thanks, Alan. I have a few projects that I just about ready to get feedback on. As for my subject area, I seem to have been handed the Excel Wizard hat at work...wheather I deserve it or not I leave to higher powers than myself. That said, I am often called upon to help various departments to various things with Excel. This is why I am here and am looking forward to getting general, wholistic feedback on my projects. Thank you!
