Pivot table sort by calendar date quarters

The "Pivot" TAB is exactly what I want, however I do not want to have Column F on the "Data" TAB. Isn't there a way to sort pivot tables strictly by Month/Quarters? Do I really need the helper Column F on the Data TAB?

    Hey Xx7,

I don't see any need for the F column on the data tab. You simply need to group the pivot data by date. Does that answer your question?

Hi Marvin, I don't think my initial question was clear. I would like the data presented as the attached, which included the actual specific day WITHIN the calendar quarter. I require the subtotals for the quarter. Is this possible without having a Column F in the Data sheet?

    Hi Xx7

You only need to group on days and quarters and then show totals. See my pivot on your data sheet. I think this is what you want now. No column F needed.
