Using three variables to retrieve data from a table

    Hello,

I believe I need to use a IF(AND formula here but not 100% sure and what it would be. I basically have 2 tabs. I need to pull in data from "VSC New" to data tab based on each of the data components listed in A:C.

So if its expired month is 24 and term month is 36 and sales vol is 47570 as listed in the first example i need it to goto VSC new tab and pull in the appropriate number in this case it would be D32. Took into account columns and rows highlighted in green. Can anyone assist with this formula? Thanks

In theory, you would INDEX the matrix, MATCHING the rows by the expired months and the columns by the term months, offset by the sales volume.

The expired months bit is OK because it is just ascending numeric. The term months however, have text added, gaps and are not ascending. It is further complicated because the volume tiers are inconsistent. Some have only one tier, though most have four.

In my opinion, it would be difficult to devise a consistent formula to extract the appropriate values.

Why would the answer be D32 instead of E32?
