    Using Ifs and Vlookup formula, with multiple condition

    Hi there,

    hope someone can help here -

    =IF(VLOOKUP(A5,$B$2:$U$1000,18,FALSE),VLOOKUP(A5,$B$2:$U$1000,18,FALSE),VLOOKUP(A5,$B$2:$U$1000,19,FALSE))

    I have used the above formula to find the answer. If column both column 18 and 19 has no number, then = N/A but i dont want to equal to N/A, i wanted to equal to 0.

    Thanks
    Sandy

    Re: Ifs formula

    Thanks, but the result has returned to 0 even if column 18 or 19 is not empty?

    I only wanted the result to return to 0 if column 18 or 19 is not empty. Thanks

    @sansan88

    1. Please explain what you are trying to do. If A5 isn’t found in column B, all the VLOOKUPs will fail no matter how you structure it. You'd need to change the search value, not the return column.

    2. Fast answers need visual help. Please read the yellow banner at the top of this page on how to attach a file and a mocked up solution.
