hi i have been currently looking for software that will allow me to add staff names and conditions such as no less than 5 staff a day ect. is there anything out there in excell that allows this
big ask i know but thought i may aswel ask before looking elsewhere
Staff rotas can be made in Excel but you have to describe your problem a lot more detailed than that.

Hi here is some more detailed info
There are 18 staff
All work 5 days over 7
shift types ,0800 - 1600 & 1230 - 2030
if possible to have both days of together
Also work same amount of saturdays/sundays
Monday - Friday numbers need to be at least 7 early starts & 7 late
Sat/sun numbers can be 6/5

Did you look at any of the free templates on the web. I note too that there are numerous Employee templates that are available within Excel. Just choose File New and then look in the Employees templates folder.
If none of these are any use then as a minimum you should design your own layout and add some typical data along with some notes that explain the limitations that you have imposed. For instance I don't know what you mean, or to be more precise how YOU define early and late starts.
