Formatting a Cell using the condition on another cell

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this forum and would like to seek your help. So my problem is: I want to format one cell (A1) based on the condition in another cell (B1). Thanks in advance for all your help and inputs.

Hi, welcome to the forum

You would do this with Conditional Formatting.

If you are familiar with CF, ignore the 1st 2 points
1. highlight the range you want to apply the conditional formatting to
2. on the home tab, styles, select CF
3. select new rule, select use formula
4. enter =B1=10

Change the 10 to whatever you need it to me
