Exclamation Filtering out unsubscribe emails? Merging and Deleting?

    Hi!
I have a spreadsheet (A) that has 7000 email addresses in it.
I have another spreadsheet (B) that has 500 emails in it - these ones are "unsubscribes".

I am trying to merge the two and delete the emails from the (A) 7000 list.

Apart from finding and deleting each individual email from the 7000 list, is there any way I can somehow merge and delete the two?

Ultimately I will end up with a list that has 6500 entries.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try adding a column in sheet a with the formula Countif(sheetA!b1:b500,+A1) then filter a delete any result >1 in sheet A.

Hi! Can you just confirm this for me? (sorry..not an excel pro!).

    One Spreadsheet.
    Column A has the 7000.
    Column B has the 500.

So you're saying add a column C and put the formula: Countif(sheetA!b1:b500,+A1) in a cell?

Please clarify for me! Many thanks!

    hi Skip007,

if you have data in column A(7000) and Column B(500). simple add a column between column A and column B. use vlookup for match the email id.

    Thanks
    Rohit

    Hi Rohit_Raj,

Thanks that worked! In column B I now have the values that have been duplicated.

Now how do I remove them from Column A?

    Thanks!

    hi Skip007,

it will better to you that putt both data in different sheet. in sheet1 colunm A(7000) and sheet2 column A(5000).

on sheet1 put this formula in columnB2. and copy paste till the end.

then filter sheet1 and short column B(A to Z). then u can delete all row which is match easily.
    Thanks
    Rohit
