Calculate $$/day, $$/week, $$/month needed to meet a goal with end date

Say I have a goal of $10,000 by Dec 31 2016, I want to show:

1. # of days until that date
2. $$/day needed to meet the goal ($10K divided by # of days as per #1 above)
3. $$/week needed (same as above)
4. $$/month needed (same as above)

That's if you are ok approximating a little bit... there may not be a round number of weeks or months between now and the end of the year.

I try that I get Friday, June 15, 1900, referencing a cell with 12/31/2016

Maybe this will help. The worksheet has calculations for days, weeks and months to target date from today.
If you want to include the current day, add 1 to the days calculation.
If you want to include the current week add 1 to the weeks calculation.
The monthly calculation is based on the 1st dat of the week if the current week includes the first of the next month. Months from now to the end of the year vary in the number of days so monthly calculations are in effect an average of the length of the month. (just a count of the calendar months)

Thank you! I had the cell format as date, changed to General and it displayed the correct # of days. Thanks so much for that attachment it's all working now. Follow-up: How can I put in one cell something like "$5/day or $150/month" showing both calculations?
