Goal seek to see if I can reconcile a number

Okay here is what I am trying to do. I have a balance that I am trying to reconcile from about 300 cells of data. Is there a way to do a goal seek type of thing where I can say (in excel) essentially "out of this list of data, can you add any of them together the totals up this number". As a basic example (incase you aren't following) say from A1:A30 I have random numbers. In B1 I have the amount $1,234. Is there a way to tell excel: "By adding 3 of these numbers, can you find the amount in B1". Does make sense? I would add the excel information, but it is sensitive information. If anyone knows any way for me to do this, I would be so thankful.
