    Table Slicer for Columns

I have recently found out about slicers, which let me dynamically filter out rows of a table.

However, I have searched wide and far and not found an option to insert/create slicers to filter out columns.

Am I missing something obvious, or is there no such feature which can be used in a straight-forward way in excel?

Of course there are workarounds, but, as the name workaround implies, they require additional, and, IMO, unnecessary work. A simple column slicer would suffice.

Anything that lets me do this simply?

    Hello,

you are correct in your observation that table slicers will only filter on the rows. Tables currently do not have a slicer to filter on columns.

You could post your feature suggestion at https://excel.uservoice.com/ and if it gets a lot of votes, the Excel team may start working on it soon.

    Thank you very much @teylin.
Was unware of the platform you mentioned to submit suggestions/bugs/feature request directly to the excel product management team, but now that you have pointed it out, I have created three topics there.

If anyone agrees with me, here are the three topics I created, which you can upvote if you agree with them:

    (1) https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/3...rs-for-columns

    (2) https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/3...wn-cell-format

    (3) https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/2...ebuild-migrate

I personally see most impact in (3), but (1) is the suggestion I have put in regarding the issue in this thread.

Again, thank you for pointing this platform out to me, teylin!!!, and please vote for the issues I have created there if you agree
