    Training and hours tracker

I had this posted somewhere else in here, couldn't find it so I'm reposting:

I'm doing training in a school district this year. I need to track my hours, building i'm in, what the topic of training is about.

Also, as I inservice staff, I want to keep a running tally of the topics of training they have attended, and a running tally of the hours they have throughout the school year.

I have attached what I have done so far. I have my hours on one tab, and the staff hours on another. I have to reenter the date and topic. It would be nice if I only had to do that once.

Any suggestions are welcomed. I'm looking for something efficient.

Are you saying you want a Summary sheet that records in chronological order the data from the 'My Hours' tab and the 'Teacher PD' tab? Also you say "I have to re-enter the date and topic" - where exactly are you 're-entering' this data as it looks to me that you only enter this data once?

I was going to enter my hours on one sheet and the teacher hours on the other. I was hoping there was a way I could have the topic I'm covering (number of times) appear in the summer sheet.

    Re: Training and hours tracker

I have attached another spreadsheet with a simple addition to 'Sheet 1'. Note spelling is important particularly if you are using formulas in columns or cells. For example, 2 of your column titles were spelt incorrectly, plus on Sheet 1 you had "iPad Basics" but on the sheet 'My Hours' you had "Reviewed iPad basics" - such small differences make a lot of difference!! I changed the later to reflect the former i.e. "iPad Basics"

    Cheers,

    This is great! Thanks.

MY district is switching to google docs, I don't know if I can do all of this on google. I'm most likely going to keep it on here.
