Money tracking spreadsheet

Dear all!

We are a group family of 17 members. We are contributing R100.00 every month for business/investment. We meet on monthly basis at each other’s place following a set list when we do the contributions. We need a simple excel spreadsheet that we can register and track each member’s contributions, especially the following:

1. Year to date contributions.
2. Current balance.
3. Money owed.
4. Money paid in advance etc.

Has anyone come across such or can help? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

However I did go through that and I did not find any that suit my condition. I have initiated something and I will upload later for you to see, perhaps you will have a clearer idea of what I’m trying to achieve. Mine is not really a budget but more like a "bookkeeping" type of thing, if you know what mean?

Complements of the new seasons and all the best for 2014! I have attached a "trial" spreadsheet as promised,kindly see if you can improve on it. The first is OK but the downside is that it is limited to a period/cycle.The second is also fine but it not doing the maths when it comes to advance payment etc.

You need to change the dates in row 4 to the current year.

I agree with you 100%, however the challenge is we need to "back-date" the sheet from 2009 to current year. And it does not seem to handle that condition.

You have precisely what I have. Please Note the example: "Oscar Cardiel" paid or contributed for ALL twelve months for that year:

* YTD is supposed to be "1 200", and NOT "100".
* "2009" happened 7 years ago, and all payments made for that year. Therefore NO advances are possible.
