Know what I'm saying? You have to grab the bottom of the row, all the way to the left, but as I said the row is so tall, excel fits it in the screen so this row height handle is below the work space. And using the arrows or mouse scroll wheel to move the screen by small amounts makes no difference. Excel always locks the row in a certain position in the visible work space -such that you can't grab these row height handles. Any ideas? Thanks
Two possible ways (if I'm correctly understanding your problem)
Right click on the row number and select Row Height, then type in something smaller; or
Change the zoom on your screen down to 50% or something until you can see all the text
