I need a formula to Calculate the Speed rating in column F

Race Winner Race Time Average (+/-) Average Final as a % Speed Rating
    1 Paradise/Blue 65.45 64.5 101.5 =IF
    2 Next/Of/Ken// 103.75 103.3 100.4
    3 McHale/ 84.31 83.9 100.5
    4 Encosta/Legend/ 92.22 90.3 102.1
    5 Im/Notti/ 102.38 103.3 99.1
    6 Boys/Talk 70.73 70.7 100.0
    7 Phinrow 70.63 70.7 99.9
    8 Media/Puzzle 144.40 149.2 96.8
    9 Melody/Prince/ 77.86 77.5 100.5
    100
We turn the final figures we just created into speed Ratings we simply use 100 as the starting point for each winner and we add 1 point for every .1 they are under 100 or deduct 1 point for every .1 over 100. In the Example below Paradise Blue is .6 over 100 that’s 6 points over average so we deduct that from a 100 to give him a Speed rating of 94, so on and so on down the list to Media Puzzle who is 22 points faster than average earning a raw rating of 100+22= 122.

    Re: Formula

Hi. Forum Rule 1 is very short. It states: "Title must briefly summarize your request."

A GOOD thread title is the sort of thing you would use as a search term on Google*. Your chosen title would produce a squillion useless hits. In future, please take a bit more time to think of a descriptive title that would be "Google-friendly". Many people search the forum answers looking for help and your very general title wouldn't help them at all.

Since you are a new or very infrequent user of this site, on this occasion, I will changed it for you, as soon as I can think of a better one!!.

However, if you continue to use weak titles, you can expect to have your thread BLOCKED until you change it yourself. If that happens, to edit the thread title, open the original post, click "Edit Post" (bottom right) to access the area where you can edit your title.

    *Other search engines are available!!!

    Regards,

    Glenn.

ALSO.... it is impossible to tell what is in an individual cell, just the number, or what??? Can you attach a file (or, in this case) just a screenshot, will be OK See yellow banner top of page...
    Glenn

None of us get paid for helping you... we do this for fun. So DON'T FORGET to say "Thank You" to all who have freely given some of their time to help YOU.
