How do i protect cells from input or changes, while leave another cell unlocked for input?
I see how to do it in desktop Excel, but I do not see this option under the Data tab as a Google Sheet.

IF the file is a native Google Sheets file, then you can Protect sheets and ranges
However, the feature is not available to protect Excel files stored in your Google Drive.
If that is the case, then you will need to convert the file to a native Google Sheets file, which you can do by going to the menu File > Save as Google Sheets
