need to break down dollar amounts to 100's, 20's, 10's and 5's.....HELP?

Here's another way, assuming total amounts are in column B:

Formula:

100s =ROUNDDOWN($B2/100,0)

20s =ROUNDDOWN(MOD($B2,100)/20,0)

10s =ROUNDDOWN(MOD(MOD($B2,100),20)/10,0)

5s =ROUNDDOWN(MOD(MOD(MOD($B2,100),20),10)/5,0)

1s =ROUNDDOWN(MOD(MOD(MOD(MOD($B2,100),20),10),5)/1,0)

Copy down as far as you need.
