End date from a given start date rolled forward by specific number of working days

    Hi everyone,

I have a specific date, say 31 May 2022 and I want to calculate / roll forward that date by a set number of days - but working days only.
So, 31 May 2022 plus 23 "working days" (working days being Mon-Fr, 5 day week). That rolled forward end date would be 1 June 2022 (assuming no bank holidays).

I'm looking at what formula I would need and would welcome any help.

    Thank you, Pat

    Try

    =WORKDAY.INTL(A1,23)

You can include HOLIDAYS in this function

Re: End date from a given start date rolled forward by specific number of working days

    Thank you John,

The 23 days is the working days, so I am looking to roll on from 31/5/22 by 23 working days
31st May is a Tuesday, we 23 working days on, would give us Friday 1st June is the result I am looking for

The forumula you suggest give me 1st July as the result (although I am not how/why)

    Thank you in advance, Pat

    That's nonsense!

01/06/2022 is the day after 31/05/2022.

So, try again: what date are you really expecting?

If you want to exclude Bank Holidays from the calculation, you need to list them somewhere:
