    Employee Attendance help please

    Hi Guys,

    I have the Excel Employee Attendance template that I slightly modified to suit my needs, but I'm struggling with the formula to calculate Days to carry over from previous year. I would like to calculate in tab SETTINGS how many days each employee used v's entitlement, and the result to be displayed beside each employee name. Could someone do me a Xmas present and help me with it?

    I attached the file I was working on

    Any help appreciated.

    So other way saying, if "Employee 1" has 25 days of holiday to use a year, and it has used 23 days, I would like the result of 2 days left to be displayed in Settings tab beside Employee 1 name. Hope this is more clear now..

    This in D5 and copied down will deal with the holiday days:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    If you need to to account for sick / medical etc. leave then we'll be needing more info on your need.

    Perhaps you're using a Mac or your regional settings require a ; rather than a , in the formula.
    Either way, try the attached and see if that does what you need.
