Pivot Table Layout

Hello everyone

I am trying to set up a pivot table for the attached data but am running into difficulties obtaining the format I need.

I believe my problem is because I am referencing the cell header date in my formula so my table may need rearranging but I am not sure how is best.

I have tried to explain what I require in the attachment so will not go into detail here but will do if asked.

See if this Pivot Table is close to what you want. The reason that it doesn't show all the months for 2015 and 2016 because there is only information for those months that are shown.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately this is not what I am but it is my fault for being vague. I have updated the attachment to show the results I am expecting in the pivot table.

Hopefully this will make things a bit clearer.

As you can see my solution involves rearranging the data by way of copy/past transpose and then adding labels for J31:AC31 (Columns J,AB and AC are helper columns). I was then able to make a Pivot Table from the data in J31:AC79.
