I have a workbook that I use to sort and display data from two other workbooks output by an old ERP system.
I use a macro to pull the data I need and then do some calculations and enter comments for a weekly meeting.
When I bring in the data from the other workbook it is already formatted with borders.
I would like to have the columns I add to the right to have the borders on the sam rows as the imported data.
It is not one continuous table (with borders) but has several (5-8) rows in between with no border then another section with borders.
Is there a way to use conditional formatting to copy the border setting of the cell directly to the left of the cell. (ie. if the cell to the left has "outside" border then set the cell to have the same.)
I know I can set the border condition as a function in conditional format, but what formula do I use to give me the condition of the borders on the cell to the left?
